Introduction

I recently completed a piping solution website development project for PT Surya Waruna Indonesia. Surya Waruna operates as a trusted industrial supplier, providing SNI-certified pipes and piping fittings across Indonesia. As the lead WordPress developer, I took full responsibility for building their corporate web platform. My primary goal was to construct a fast, scalable web application that presents industrial piping specs clearly to commercial contractors and project developers.

Project Overview

Surya Waruna required a modern corporate website to showcase their extensive range of certified piping products. Their previous digital presentation made it difficult for project managers to examine technical pipe dimensions and SNI standards easily. Therefore, I was tasked with building an interactive digital catalog from the ground up. I designed the platform to establish market trust, organize complex piping lines, and streamline quotation requests from industrial buyers.

My Role

As the WordPress developer on this project, I managed the entire development lifecycle from data architecture to final deployment. I collaborated with stakeholders to organize technical piping categories into clean visual layouts. Using Elementor alongside Crocoblock dynamic tools, I constructed flexible listing templates. Furthermore, I authored custom CSS and JavaScript to enhance user interactions and guarantee responsive performance across all viewports.

Design & Development Process

My development workflow prioritized page speed, clean site architecture, and seamless navigation for technical buyers.

First, I established the core WordPress environment and mapped out the piping taxonomy. To manage multi-standard industrial products efficiently, I implemented Crocoblock JetEngine to create Custom Post Types, custom fields, and dynamic listing grids.

Second, I assembled the visual interface using Elementor. Because default page builder modules lacked advanced interactive controls for technical product specs, I wrote custom CSS and JavaScript. This custom code refined product card layouts, hover states, and interactive filtering menus.

Third, I focused heavily on mobile responsiveness. Engineers and contractors frequently research piping supplies on mobile devices while on job sites. I adjusted breakpoints and optimized scripts to ensure instant page loading and effortless navigation on all screens. Finally, I tested the catalog filtering system before site launch.

Challenges

Executing a piping solution website development project involves managing extensive technical product variations without cluttering the user interface. Displaying pressure ratings, wall thicknesses, and certification details clearly on small mobile screens presented a distinct technical challenge.

I solved this by building dynamic listing templates in Crocoblock JetEngine combined with custom CSS flexbox rules and lightweight JS handlers. This setup allowed technical specification tables to collapse cleanly on smaller viewports. As a result, product data remains clear on mobile screens while maintaining a structured grid on desktop monitors.
